I don’t really like it when authors cut off the story before we get any answers, I like having an actual conclusion.But yeah other than that it was good. The ending could have been better or she could have done a prologue of like a year later to show us what happened. The ending is so predictable and the protagonist does very little to even uncover who is the true murderer. I just would have liked that mystery to have been resolved at the end.I do think the book is worth reading, I thought it was pretty good despite the ending. things might be awful for a while- sometimes a long while- but eventually, you would be able to function again. I'm not sure my heart could sink much lower and I kept thinking "shit, this is bleak." The only thing scary about this book is the poor writing.
